Folie à Deux will see Joaquin, 49, reprise his role as Arthur Fleck AKA Joker and he arrived to the premiere with his glamorous sister Rain. She looked great in a brown velvet gown and donned stylish shades as she posed with her brother. It is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019's Academy Award-winning Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at the global box office and remains the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. Set for release on October 4, the second instalment finds Arthur Fleck institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. Throughout their years dating, Gaga and Polansky have attended the Super Bowl, the BAFTAs, and the Critics Choice Awards together. Joaquin Phoenix, left, and Lady Gaga in a scene from Joker: Folie à Deux  Wedding plans for the couple are underway and their legal plan is being negotiated. Gaga is reportedly seeking a $900 million prenup before she walks down the aisle. And Polansky, who has a $600 million net worth as head of The Parker Foundation, is on board. A source close to the couple told In Touch that 'there are a lot of assets on both sides, and a prenup will just make everything clear.' Gaga 'is worth $900 million, so of course there needs to be a prenup in place, ' the insider said. 'And Michael understands that. He's not resisting it.' Joker: Folie À Deux —

Joker: Folie À Deux — starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix — has garnered the lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history as the film bombed at the box office on opening night.  The psychological musical thriller — which has been criticized as 'bleak' and 'disappointing' — officially released in theaters on Friday, October 4, but it only raked in $20 million at the domestic box office, per The Hollywood Reporter.  Phoenix reprised his role as the Joker in the sequel, which had earned him an Oscar for his portrayal in the 2019 film, while Gaga took on the role of Harleen Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn).  However, Joker: Folie À Deux has been given a D rating on CinemaScore — the lowest score for a comic book movie.  Madame Web — which notably also flopped in theaters earlier this year and also received terrible reviews — holds a higher score with a C+.  Joker: Folie À Deux - starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix - has garnered the lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history as the film bombs at the box office on opening night It received a D rating on CinemaScore - the lowest score for a comic book movie On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie currently holds an audience score of 31% and a critic score of 32%.  The sequel is projected to rake in less that $50 million at the domestic box office during the entirety of opening weekend, per The Hollywood Reporter.  Read More Joker: Folie À Deux is branded 'bleak' and the 'most disappointing follow-up' by critics Weeks ago, the movie had been projected to bring in around $70 million - but the number has since drastically dropped.  Joker (2019) notably opened with $96.2 million when the film first released in theaters - and eventually landed a little over $1 billion in the global box office.  The first movie - which was also directed by Todd Phillips - had a budget of between $55 and $70 million. However, the budget increased for Folie À Deux to around $200 million.  The 2019 movie garnered praise and positive reviews from both critics and audiences - and won the Golden Lion during the 76th Venice International Film Festival.  Joaquin received an Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of the Joker (Arthur Fleck) - and the film garnered an additional Academy Award for Best Original Score.  The sequel also screened during the Venice International Film Festival last month in September, where it earned a 12-minute standing ovation, per Deadline.    On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie currently holds an audience score of 31% and a critic score of 32% However, audiences have since taken to X after the movie released in theaters on Friday - and shared their opinions on the sequel, which features musical sequences.  One fan penned, 'Joaquin Phoenix don't deserve this. what happened to the script?' while another added, 'is it that bad,' followed by a crying face emoji.  'Ironically I feel that a musical, if done well, could have been a good choice. It'd show how much of an unreliable narrator Fleck is,' one typed.  'But with some original songs, that keep everything vague, not just covers. Also when I heard of the ending I snorted fr.'  A social media user wrote, 'Stop making sequels as musicals if the original wasn't a musical.'  'Maybe he [Phillips] only had an hour long movie, and decided to randomly add musical scenes to fill the runtime,' one penned.  'Joker downfall really needs to be studied,' another shared, along with a monkey staring out a window.  One fan said, 'the movie sucks. i had to walk out of the cinema,' while another penned, 'After years of disagreement....*Joker 2 releases* Critics [shaking hands] Audience.'  The sequel is projected to only rake in less that $50 million in the domestic box office during the entirety of opening weekend, per The Hollywood Reporter However, audiences have since taken to X after the movie released in theaters on Friday - and shared their opinions over the sequel, which was also a musical 'Ironically I feel that a musical, if done well, could have been a good choice. It'd show how much of an unreliable narrator Fleck is,' one typed 'Joker downfall really needs to be studied,' another shared, along with a monkey staring out a window 'That's way below what we expected,' one wrote in regards to the current Rotten Tomatoes scores. 'People are saying this is the worst sequel ever.'  A fan explained, 'yea this film was bad. it was pretentious and dull. has the aesthetic of an arthouse film without the substance.'  'It also insults the audience's intelligence. the songs were also underwhelming too. they shouldn't have let this escape to theaters.'  One shared, 'The audience that loved the first movie is not the same audience running to see musicals. This was a gigantic mistake from step 1.'  During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Phillips discussed whether he would be interested in making a third Joker film or a movie centered around Gaga's character.  'It's not really where this movie is headed for me. I feel like my time in the DC Universe was these two films.'  Ahead of the movie's release, Lady Gaga also dropped an accompanying album titled Harlequin on September 27.  Joker: Folie À Deux has been branded the 'most disappointing follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie' by critics, as they cast doubt on Lady Gaga's 'thin' role in the film following its release on Friday.  'That's way below what we expected,' one wrote in regards to the current Rotten Tomatoes scores. 'People are saying this is the worst sequel ever' A fan explained, 'yea this film was bad. it was pretentious and dull. has the aesthetic of an arthouse film without the substance' The 'bleak' sequel, has also received a tepid reception from fans, with some claiming Lady Gaga's career could be at risk. While the same director Todd Phillips was back in the hot seat, critics have said the sequel is just a 'repeat' of the first hit but with an added musical twist. Most critics have said Todd failed to use Gaga correctly in the movie and claimed she was only bought in for the musical aspect of it. While the majority of critics say Joker: Folie À Deux didn't live up to expectations, others have dubbed the movie 'bold' and 'brilliant.'  Daily Mail's Brian Viner commended the move as 'bold' and 'brilliant' but said it lacked any thrill.  The Independent's Geoffrey Macnab said: 'Today Joker is best remembered as one of the most subversive and original films of the last decade, while its hugely anticipated sequel is just as bleak and formally daring as its predecessor'. Meanwhile, the Irish Times' Donald Clarke gave the movie just two stars but credited Phillips' work for making a sequel following the first movie's $1billion success. Financial Times critic Danny Leigh said although Gaga worked hard to bump the ratings up in the sequel, Phillips appeared to have no idea what to do with her.  Giving a three star rating, The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw claimed the movie proves 'claustrophobic' and 'repetitive.' During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Phillips discussed whether he would be interested in making a third Joker film or a movie centered around Gaga's character; Phillips, Gaga and Phoenix seen in September in L.A.  Joker: Folie À Deux has been branded the 'most disappointing follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie' by critics, as they cast doubt on Lady Gaga's 'thin' role in the film following its release on Friday; seen in September in London  The Times' Kevin Maher wrote: 'The director Todd Phillips said there would be no follow-up to the original, but he changed his mind and the result is a derivative musical' 'This might be the most disappointing follow-up to an Oscar-winning performance since Anthony Hopkins reworked his silky and terrifying Dr Lecter from for the campy, kitschy.'  Along with Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, other stars that had appeared in the sequel include Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Zazie Beatz and Steve Coogan.  Joker: Folie à Deux has faced additional backlash from fans as they have claimed that Gaga is running the risk of losing her acting career.  Lady GagaJoaquin Phoenix Feel free to visit my webpage: ไอคอส บุหรี่

PLANT OUT SPRING

PLANT OUT SPRING BEDDING  Wallflowers get their name from their habit of growing near  stone walls.  Erysimum cheiri are shortlived evergreen perennials or biennials often grown as spring bedding.  You can buy them as plug plants now and get them in the ground to flower early next year. This is a fun activity to do with children or grandchildren. All you need is a well-weeded flower bed in a sunny spot, gardening gloves, and a trowel.  Dig a hole so that the base of the plant is level with the soil. Pop in your young wallflower, firm the earth around it and water well. Repeat, leaving 20cm between plants.  They can grow to up to 50cm high depending on the variety and come in a range of bright colours. E. ‘Fireglow' is a dazzling red and orange variety; E. ‘Bowles Mauve' is light purple, while E. ‘Sunset Primrose' is a fragrant lemon yellow.  Erysimum cheiri (pictured) are shortlived evergreen perennials or biennials often grown as spring bedding This is also the time to plant plugs of Sweet Williams (Dianthus barbatus). These are also biennials or short-lived perennials which grow to between 40 to 60cm with clusters of carnation-like flowers from February to June in colours from white to deep pink, often in a combination of two tones. They prefer well-drained, alkaline to neutral soil in full sun. These are a good source of late nectar for pollinating insects and are followed by poisonous berries.  Actea simplex ‘Brunette' is a cultivar that has been given the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. Its deep purplish brown foliage contrasts well with its ghostly white blooms.  Actea simplex (pictured) or baneberry is a herbaceous perennial, which grows well in moist soil in dappled shade READER'S QUESTION  Can you recommend good daffodils for pots?  Serena Dalton, Knutsford.  Dwarf narcissi daffodils are ideal for pots and make a cheerful welcome if you place them by your front door Dwarf narcissi are ideal for pots and make a cheerful welcome if you place them by your front door. By Maria Martinez LUXEMBOURG,

By Maria Martinez LUXEMBOURG, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Germany's economic model is not broken but Europe's biggest economy has lost competitiveness over the past decade, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said on Monday. "We can't be satisfied with the economic developments in Germany," he told journalists ahead of a Eurogroup meeting. The German economy is expected to contract by 0.2% in 2024, an economy ministry spokesperson said on Monday, cutting the forecast from a previous projection of 0.3% growth this year. If realised, this would be the second consecutive year of contraction for Germany's economy, which was the weakest among its large euro zone peers last year with a 0.3% decline in gross domestic product. Lindner said the government was introducing supply-side measures to try to return the economy to growth. "After these reforms, Germany will have more competitiveness again," Lindner said, adding that the growth initiative was just a first step for an economic turnaround, "but we have to build on it." AMBITION NEEDED Lindner said "ambition" was needed to keep EU public finances in order, or to put them back in order where necessary. "I can only encourage everyone to implement structural reforms and to make unpopular decisions," Lindner said. "What seems to be unpopular at the moment is the willingness to take responsibility for the next generation and for the stability of the European Union as a whole." Lindner said he could not comment on the French budget plans because he had not had the chance to talk with his French colleagues yet, but he would do so on Monday evening. "We should all realise that the credibility of public finances vis-à-vis the capital markets is not to be trifled with," Lindner said. "We must credibly reduce our deficits and our debt so that we can continue to finance ourselves well and in a stable manner." Joker: Folie à Deux premiered

Joker: Folie à Deux premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival last month and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States on Friday. However, the musical has received mixed reviews from critics, while fans took to social media to claim that Lady Gaga, 38, is running the risk of losing her acting career.  Gaga, whose birth name is Stefani Germanotta, stars as Harley opposite Joaquin's Joker in the psychological thriller.  Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: 'They just wanted Lady Gaga to sing. The film had no plot, just vibes. I want my 3 hours back #JokerMovie'; 'The Joker was such a bore being a musical, that at the end of the movie, even the joker himself asked Gaga to stop singing'; Joker: Folie à Deux premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival last month and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States on Friday However, the musical has received mixed reviews from critics and fans took to social media to claim that Lady Gaga , 38, is running the risk of losing her acting career 'This could have been a great romantic musical starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga that people really would have liked, but at no point should this ever have been a sequel to Joker and used the characters Harley Quinn and Joker, absolutely no reason to even have it be DC Set.'  Another added: 'The Joker 2 could have done it all and did way better than the first one but they went with some f*****g musical just cause lady gaga was in it. What a way to kill what could have been an amazing Joker series'; 'The reviews on the Joker are so bad. Omg Gaga your acting career about to be over.'; 'Lady Gaga and all this musical s**t were just a terrible idea for the joker sequel when the first was a blast.'; 'It just felt a lil lackluster. I felt like I hung on as much as I could but the ending sent me. I think being a fan of both Gaga and the character joker had me interested but overall upset'; 'Too much singing! Why is Gaga in the movie though. Definitely didn't want to hear her sing'   Meanwhile, The Guardian claimed the much-hyped Gotham sequel proved 'claustrophobic' and 'repetitive'.  While Daily Mail branded the sequel as 'bold' and 'brilliant yet audaciously different in style from the original. Brian Vine wrote: 'For me, Joker was a near-masterpiece, and while this sequel doesn't scale those heady heights, it is still a gripping film about mental illness; not quite comparable with all-time greats such as Psycho (1960) and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975), but not too far off. ' The mixed reviews come after Gaga showed off her eclectic fashion sense on Monday as she channelled her character Harley Quinn at The Joker: Folie à Deux premiere in Los Angeles. The movie serves as a follow-up to Phoenix's 2019 box office hit, which was simply titled Joker. Aussie actor Russell Crowe

Aussie actor Russell Crowe has always worn his heart on his sleeve - sometimes to his detriment - but he has vowed to reel it in when watching his beloved Souths play NRL matches from now on. Crowe became a co-owner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2006, alongside businessman Peter Holmes à Court, with the aim of revitalising the NRL club that was struggling at the time. Under his leadership, the Rabbitohs achieved financial stability and secured a premiership victory in 2014, ending a 43-year drought.  Crowe was instrumental in recruiting star players like Sam Burgess and Greg Inglis to the team, which significantly improved their performance.  He has often been seen passionately supporting the Rabbitohs at games, with media capturing moments of his animated reactions during key matches.  However the Gladiator star has vowed to show more of a poker face at future games for one big reason.   Hollywood actor Russell Crowe is a part owner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and is a constant figure in the stands of home games Crowe bought into the club in 2006 and has been a passionate supporter of the club since he was a child Crowe, who was instrumental in bringing premiership players like Greg Inglis and Sam Burgess (pictured) to the club, has vowed to temper his emotions from now on 'Nah [losing doesn't impact my mood]...it is what it is, I can't affect that outcome so you sort of just have to accept what's going on,' he told Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie. 'A long time ago when I'd be going to Rabbitohs games when my kids were little and stuff, and I realised that by showing my passion in the grandstands was potentially giving the media outlets a way of mentally affecting the team.  'There was all these photos of me strangling the imaginary referee. 'So, I thought, 'I'm gonna stop doing that'. I'd go to a game and see what happens then I'd go backstage and you can swear.  'But when I'm watching the game, I try and keep my cool...because you know I think about it from the players' perspective. They don't want to see the boss looking like he's pissed off in the Monday newspaper. So you've got to be cool about it.'  Souths fans - including Crowe - endured a torrid 2024 season, finishing 16th with a 7-17 record.  Injuries and suspensions played their part but defensive frailties were the biggest issue, with the Rabbitohs conceding an average of 28.4 points per game - their worst since 2006. The Rabbitohs have gone back to the future by sacking coach Jason Demetriou and re-instating former mentor Wayne Bennett Souths fans will be hoping to see a fit and firing Latrell Mitchell back on the park next season Injuries compounded their struggles, with key players like Campbell Graham missing the entire season and Latrell Mitchell limited to 11 appearances. The season's disappointments led to the dismissal of coach Jason Demetriou, with Wayne Bennett set to return as head coach in 2025. Looking ahead to 2025, the Rabbitohs have bolstered their roster by signing English halfback Lewis Dodd, Euan Aitken and Josh Schuster. The 2025 season kicks off with a match against Bennett's former club the Dolphins. Sam BurgessKate RitchieSouth Sydney Rabbitohs Feel free to visit my web site จัดดอกไม้งานขาว ดํา แบบ ง่ายๆ

PARIS (AP) - Not even a tense

PARIS (AP) - Not even a tense tête-à-tête in the gold medal game could spoil the vibe at Paris´ biggest beach party. Canada´s Brandie Wilkerson and Brazil´s Ana Patrícia got into a finger-pointing shouting match across the net in the tiebreaking third set of the beach volleyball final of the Paris Olympics on Friday night. The referee tried to keep the peace, but it was the Eiffel Tower Stadium DJ who cooled tempers on the sand by playing John Lennon´s "Imagine" over the PA system. The players laughed and clapped. The crowd applauded and sang along. Wilkerson was shown a yellow card. The top-ranked Brazilians left with the gold medal. "We`re competitors and we are fighting for the same thing: There´s only one gold medal," Wilkerson said during a post-match news conference in which the two laughed and jokingly put up their fists as if they were going to brawl it out. Gold medalists, Brazil's Eduarda "Duda" Santos Lisboa, center left, and Ana Patricia Silva Ramos, center right, pose for a selfie with, from left, silver medalists, Canada's Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson, and bronze medalists, Switzerland's Nina Brunner and Tanja Hueberli, on the medals podium for women's beach volleyball at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, in Paris, France. (AP Photo/Robert F. Bukaty) "Immediately after the game, it´s all love and respect," she said. "We bring out the best in each other, and I´m honored to play against this team." Ana Patrícia and Duda rallied from an 11-5 deficit to take the first-to-21, win-by-two first set 26-24, and Canada won the second 21-12. Brazil opened up a 12-7 lead in the first-to-15 tiebreaker when, after a joust at the net, Wilkerson and Ana Patrícia began pointing fingers at each other. The second referee, the iqos iluma one at sand level, moved out to separate the two players, but Wilkerson continued to argue and picked up a yellow card. As the Brazilians got into position to serve for the next point, the DJ began playing "Imagine," the late Beatle's song calling for unity and peace. The message resonated with the players. "What a beautiful opportunity we have to play the finals under the Eiffel Tower against the best in the world," Wilkerson said. "Like, that, in of itself, is a win." Wilkerson told reporters afterward that it was all a misunderstanding: She was responding to her family, cheering in the crowd behind the Brazilians, and Ana Patrícia thought Wilkerson was taunting her. "We´re pretty amped up, partners are coming in, refs are coming in. So it was a bit of a mess," Wilkerson said. "But after the game, and even right when they came to shake our hands, still on the court, there was an immediate hug and just kind of like, `Hey, it´s all good.´" When play resumed, it took Brazil only five more points to finish off Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes, kicking off a party the sport's spiritual home hadn't seen since hosting the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games at Copacabana. In Tokyo, the country was shut out at the Summer Games for the first time since beach volleyball was added to the program in 1996. Three years later, Brazil not only returned to the podium but climbed to its top step. With the Eiffel Tower's strobes sparking in the background and yellow- and green-wearing fans singing and waving Brazilian flags, the country was awarded its first women's gold since Atlanta. (The United States, which had won four of the last five, was shut out in both the men's and women's tournaments in Paris.) After the medal ceremony, the Canadians and Brazilians - along with the bronze-winning Swiss - posed for selfies together. Wilkerson and Ana Patrícia spoke to each other and hugged; there may have even been an air kiss. "It was a game thing," Ana Patrícia said. "Everybody wants to win. But it happens. It´s everybody trying to win, but now everything is OK." Wilkerson and Humana-Paredes will return to Canada with the country's first beach volleyball medal since the men won bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Games. That team was coached by Humana-Paredes' father. Switzerland beat Australia in straight sets in the third-place game earlier Friday night to earn the bronze medal. Nina Brunner and Tanja Huerberli beat Tokyo silver medalists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar 21-17, 21-15 in 39 minutes. It was the second Summer Games in a row that a Swiss team took the bronze medal, coming three years after Joana Heidrich and Anouk Vergé-Dépré placed third in Tokyo. On the men's side, Sweden was set to face Germany for gold on Saturday night, with Norway and Qatar playing for the bronze. ___ AP Olympics: website Brazil's Eduarda "Duda" Santos Lisboa, left, and Ana Patricia Silva Ramos react after winning their women's beach volleyball gold medal match against Canada, at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, in Paris, France. ‘Tis the season of hosiery.

‘Tis the season of hosiery. Paired with a mini skirt and a sequin blazer (we're looking at you, Selena Gomez), or styled with a little black dress and a pair of killer heels (à la Alexa Chung at the Fashion Awards), tights and stockings are a great way to add style - and perhaps an extra layer of warmth - to your outfits during the autumn and winter months. From matte to glossy, opaque to sheer, and black to skin-toned shades, there's a lot more to consider than just the denier number when it comes to picking out a pair of classic tights. And then, of course, there is also patterned hosiery (think delicate designs like a back seam, polka dots or lace detailing) to elevate your winter style. ‘Tis the season of hosiery In 2024, tights should no longer be an obligation but a fashion choice. Google searches for ‘tights' are up by 115% since the temperatures first dropped, and at high-street favourite M&S two pairs are sold every minute. So what styles are we buying? The top spot is claimed by the retailer's 60 Denier Body Sensor Tights (a handy three-pack that sells for just £8 and is available in a black, navy and brown). The 40 Denier Body Sensor Tights (£8 for a three-pack) are second favourite, followed by the 30 Denier Body Sensor Tights (£8 for a three-pack). The fourth most popular pair is the 60 Denier Magicwear Opaque Tights (£14 for a two-pack), and the top five is rounded out by the 100 Denier Magicwear Opaque Tights (£14 for a two-pack). These are the number one selling tights at Marks & Spencer M&S believes the decision between opaque and sheer tights should be based on the formality of our outfit. ‘Opaque black tights will go with basically everything. Often said to clash with black; blue or brown hues are also an option.' ‘Sheer tights are great for more formal occasions and warmer temperatures, as they provide a lighter and more breathable option,' the high street giant added. ‘You can achieve that elegant, barely-there look with a little extra coverage.' Similarly, intricate patterns, logos and glitter are best suited for evening looks, says M&S. ‘For a daytime or office look, stick with polka dots or diamond patterned tights, or if you're looking for some added cosiness, try cable-knit tights for some subtle texture.' my site พวงหรีดงานศพ

By Emma Rumney LONDON, Dec 6

By Emma Rumney LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - British American Tobacco's admission that its U.S. cigarette brands will be worthless within decades has ramped up pressure on the company to prove it can better compete in alternatives like vapes. Earlier on Wednesday, BAT put a 30-year lifetime on some U.S. tobacco brands' value, taking a $31.5 billion noncash impairment. The move marked the first time a tobacco company has acknowledged that hugely profitable brands have no economic future. While the maker of Lucky Strike and Dunhill cigarettes has been investing in alternatives like vapes to counter the decline, it lags behind rival Philip Morris International in the transition, leaving its shares trading at a vastly lower price-earnings ratio than those of its main competitor. "What really matters to the stock is how quickly you can replace (cigarettes) with alternative routes for consumers to get a nicotine hit and how profitable that will be," said Chris Beckett, head of equity research at Quilter Cheviot, a BAT shareholder. BAT says its newer products will break even years ahead of schedule. Its vape business is growing, along with its oral nicotine product, Velo, the market leader in Europe. However, it faces key challenges. In the critical U.S. market, authorities have rejected its application to sell some key vape products and illegal disposable vapes have flooded the market, denting sales of those products BAT is able to market. The company is also under pressure from investors to catch up with rival PMI in another alternative, heated tobacco. Heated tobacco devices heat up sticks of tobacco resembling cigarettes but do not burn them in an attempt to avoid harmful chemicals released during combustion. PMI's IQOS product dominates this category with some 70% market share. BAT's rival proposition, meanwhile, lost market share in 2023 in terms of volume, to stand at 18.2% in key markets, the company said, adding that its volume and revenue growth decelerated in the second half in a "disappointing" performance. LATE ENTRY It is harder for companies to generate profit from vapes due to intense competition, said Orwa Mohamad, analyst at Third Bridge. BAT's late entry into heated tobacco had left it at a disadvantage and an aggressive pricing strategy aimed at winning share from เครื่องสูบบุหรี่ iqos had yet to bear fruit, he added. Where PMI expects two-thirds of its net revenue to come from smoke-free products by 2030, BAT's ambition, announced on Wednesday, envisages only 50% of its revenue from new categories by 2035. Its slower progress versus PMI means BAT's shares have gained little value so far from its commitment to transition, trading at a price-earnings ratio only slightly above that of rival Imperial Brands. Unlike the others, Imperial has in recent years pulled back from heavy investments in new products to refocus on its traditional cigarette business, leaving a question mark over its longer-term sustainability. At the same time, BAT is now falling short of Imperial on something investors have long expected from highly cash-generative cigarette businesses: healthy dividends and share buybacks. Cigarette businesses are so profitable they do not need to last beyond 30 years to make worthwhile investments, Beckett said, adding Imperial's share buybacks are evidence of that. Imperial's delivery on this core element of tobacco companies' investment case has helped its shares outperform rivals in recent years, rising 17% since the start of 2022. That compares with 1% for PMI's stock, and a decline of 13% for BAT. BAT, meanwhile, disappointed the market on Wednesday when it said it would need to reduce its leverage ratio further before buybacks could resume. A buyback would be "amazingly enhancing" to the stock, Beckett said. (Reporting by Emma Rumney in London Editing by Matt Scuffham and Matthew Lewis)

Joker: Folie À Deux has been

Joker: Folie À Deux has been branded the 'most disappointing follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie' by critics, as they cast doubt on Lady Gaga's 'thin' role in the film following its release on Friday. The 'bleak' sequel, has also received a tepid reception from fans, with some claiming Lady Gaga's career could be at risk. While the same director Todd Phillips was back in the hot seat, critics have said the sequel is just a 'repeat' of the first hit but with an added musical twist. Most critics have said Todd failed to use Gaga correctly in the movie and claimed she was only bought in for the musical aspect of it. While the majority of critics say Joker: Folie À Deux didn't live up to expectations, others have dubbed the movie 'bold' and 'brilliant'. Joker: Folie À Deux has been branded the 'most disappointing follow-up to the Oscar-winning movie' by critics (Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga pictured in the movie) While the same director Todd Phillips was back in the hot seat, critics have said the sequel is just a 'repeat' of the first hit but with an added musical twist  Joker: Folie à Deux premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival last month and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States on Friday.  The Daily Mail's Brian Viner commended the move as 'bold' and 'brilliant' but said it lacked any thrill. Giving the sequel a four star rating, he wrote: 'This film is audaciously different in style from the original, not as electrifying, but bold and brilliant all the same. 'Arthur is now behind bars, waiting to see whether he will be judged sane enough to stand trial for murder, and in the meantime enjoying his celebrity status with fellow prisoners and even the warders, one of whom, a sadistic Irishman played by Brendan Gleeson, feeds him cigarettes in return for jokes. Read More Joker: Folie a Deux is a punchline five years in the making, writes BRIAN VINER 'Lady Gaga plays Lee, a fellow inmate on her way, we suppose, to becoming Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn. The pair hit it off at a music therapy class, and are soon mutually smitten, but Lee makes it clear that she loves the dangerously charismatic Joker, 'clown prince of crime', not the gloomily introspective Arthur. 'Which is more real: the psychopath wearing the mask or the vulnerable fellow behind it? Either way, identity confusion is the theme of this film, which keeps being billed as a musical.  'It's not, really, although music looms large as an expression of Arthur and Lee's burgeoning love for one another. And there are a couple of swooning dance routines that make them look like psychotic versions of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in La La Land (2016). 'For me, Joker was a near-masterpiece, and while this sequel doesn't scale those heady heights, it is still a gripping film about mental illness; not quite comparable with all-time greats such as Psycho (1960) and iqos i one Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975), but not too far off.'

From state banquets to

From state banquets to official engagements, the Princess of Wales has an ever-growing and faultless selection of tailored coat dresses, black-tie gowns and court shoes at her disposal, but it's her everyday wardrobe that really takes the crown. Scroll down to see 21 Kate Middleton-approved cold-weather staples we'll be wearing this season. A camel coat No winter wardrobe is complete without a camel coat No winter wardrobe is complete without a camel coat - and the Princess of Wales knows this. She tends to go for tailored, ankle-length silhouettes that can easily be layered over midi dresses and a pair of knee-high boots. Shop the look: Coat, £119, Zara Coat, £119, Zara A knitted midi dress She also knows the power of a knitted midi dress. It's one of throw-on-and-go heroes that'll make you look put together, even if you've rushed out of the house in the morning without looking in a mirror. (Although we doubt that's the case for Kate.) Shop the look: Dress, £188, Reiss Dress, £188, Reiss A sweater vest Kate proving sweater vests are cool again  We'd love a peek inside the Princess of Wales' knitwear collection, which includes this sleeveless knit. Sweater vests are often considered a little frumpy but layered over a white button-down (à la Kate) they're a perfect office staple for the chilly weather. Shop the look: Sweater vest, £39.95, Joules Sweater vest, £39.95, Joules A Fair Isle jumper Her knitwear collection includes at least three Fair Isle jumpers Nothing signals the start of Christmas quite like the return of the Fair Isle knit (check out our roundup of the cosiest here) - and the Princess' jumper collection includes at least three different designs. Shop the look: Jumper, £179, Holland & Cooper Jumper, £179, Holland & Cooper A tartan dress The Princess loves to add a touch of tartan to her outfits in the winter  Another print that's synonymous with the holiday season is tartan. Kate Middleton's winter wardrobe includes plaid coats, scarves and skirts, but our favourite of her tartan pieces is this Emilia Wickstead dress. Shop the look: Dress, £235, Brora at John Lewis Dress, £235, Brora at John Lewis A pair of knee-high boots The combo of a midi skirt and knee-high boots can't be beat Once the temperatures drop, there's no shoe the Princess of Wales loves more than a heeled, knee-high boot. She has a pair in nearly every colour - and usually wears them with midi dresses or skirts and long, woollen coats. Shop the look: Boots, £165, Dune Boots, £165, Dune A printed midi skirt Speaking of midi skirts - Kate has amassed quite the collection, which includes a leopard print, tartan and houndstooth skirt. Shop the look: Skirt, £29.50, M&S Skirt, £29.50, M&S A pair of leather gloves No cold hands for Kate On those frosty days, Kate Middleton doesn't leave the house without a pair of leather gloves - and we wouldn't either. Gloves have become a must-have fashion staple that instantly levels up your cold-weather style. Shop the look: Gloves, £22, Next Gloves, £22, Next A red scarf When in doubt, just add a red accessory  Do we think the Princess knows about the ‘pop of red' trick (i.e. adding a single red accessory to an otherwise neutral outfit, to give it a little extra edge)? She's reworn the same red scarf on multiple occasions. Shop the look: Scarf, £19, John Lewis Scarf, £19, John Lewis A pair of riding boots She's been wearing these boots for two decades Fuelled by television phenomena such as Rivals, riding boots have become one of the most unexpected footwear trends of AW24 - and Kate Middleton has been wearing these Penelope Chilvers tassel boots since 2004. Shop the look: Boots, £475, Penelope Chilvers Boots, £475, Penelope Chilvers A wax jacket Speaking of hardworking pieces in the Princess' wardrobe - she owns at least two wax jackets from Barbour, which she sports to stroll around the countryside in her downtime, or whenever she's launching outdoorsy campaigns as a working royal. Shop the look: Jacket, £185, Mint Velvet Jacket, £185, Mint Velvet A fedora Has anyone ever looked more chic in a fedora? We'd love a peek inside Kate Middleton's headwear collection, which has grown to be quite substantial, but by far our favourite hat she's ever worn is this cobalt blue fedora courtesy of Hicks & Brown. Shop the look: Fedora, £109, Hicks & Brown Fedora, £109, Hicks & Brown A pair of dark wash jeans We'd copy and paste this outfit on weekends It's not often we see the Princess of Wales in jeans, and when we do she's usually sporting a skinnier shape, so we haven't been able to stop thinking about these cropped kick-flare jeans since they had their first outfit last winter. Shop the look: Jeans, £29.99, Mango Jeans, £29.99, Mango A pair of Chelsea boots Another staple from Kate Middleton's casual wardrobe are these brown Chelsea boots. The track sole gives the otherwise classic shoe a sportier look that's perfect for running errands. Shop the look: Boots, £27.99, H&M Boots, £27.99, H&M A cashmere roll neck There's no better investment than a cashmere roll neck Few knits feel more luxurious than a cashmere jumper - and Kate Middleton agrees. Her go-to brands for roll necks include Hobbs, Ralph Lauren and Gabriela Hearst, but there are some great-quality, affordable cashmere brands on the high street, too. Shop the look: Jumper, £95, M&S Jumper, £95, M&S A faux fur hat No cold ears for Kate We admit it would have to be baltic outside before we'd wear a faux fur hat, but the Princess does really make a case for them - she makes them look chic and cosy at the same time. Shop the look: Hat, £22.99, Zara Hat, £22.99, Zara A bouclé jacket The Princess is a fan of glittering bouclé jackets First created by Coco Chanel back in the 1950s, the bouclé jacket still reigns supreme among the fashion set. Kate Middleton favours them during the holidays - and opts for metallic iterations for a festive take on the classic. Shop the look: Jacket, £45, River Island Jacket, £45, River Island A trouser suit Who looks better in a suit? (Our vote goes to Kate) Since becoming the Princess of Wales, Kate has embraced suiting and amassed an impressive collection of smart blazers, tailored trousers and silk blouses in a rainbow of colours. While she still often goes for tapered silhouettes, we're big fans of her wide-leg trouser suits. Shop the look: Blazer, £125, trousers, £85, John Lewis Blazer, £125, John Lewis Trousers, £85, John Lewis A pussy bow blouse You'll find more than one pussy bow blouse in Kate's workwear wardrobe If the words ‘Kate Middleton' and ‘blouse' don't call up images of the royal in a silky pussy bow top, then you haven't been paying enough attention. Paired with tailored trousers, the blouse has become one of her signature workwear styles. Shop the look: Blouse, £99, Phase Eight Blouse, £99, Phase Eight A printed midi dress This midi dress ticks all of the Princess' boxes  Another one of Kate's favourites for official engagements is a printed midi dress - we've seen her in polka dots, winter florals and checks. Shop the look: Dress, £39.99, Zara Dress, £39.99, Zara A festive cardigan Another round of applause for Kate's knitwear collection No one loves festive knitwear more than the Princess of Wales (as illustrated above by her affinity for Fair Isle knits and glittering bouclé jackets) so we couldn't complete the list without this red number from Miu Miu. Shop the look: Cardigan, £37.99, H&M Cardigan, £37.99, H&M Check out my website; เมรุไกร หมายถึง

A billionaire couple have won

A billionaire couple have won the right to remove a single tree from the driveway of their lavish $20million mansion after being blocked by their local council.  Paul Holmes a Court, the son of Australia's first billionaire Robert Holmes a Court, and his wife Zara had been at loggerheads with their local council over a request to remove a single peppermint tree growing in the middle of their driveway. The couple bought the four-bedroom mansion in the affluent, tree-lined suburb overlooking Perth's Freshwater Bay for $20.1million in August. They wanted to remove the tree but the Shire of Peppermint Grove refused the request on the grounds the tree was not dead or deceased.  'We are very lucky to live here, but I have to say that the tree placement is unusual,' Ms Holmes a Court previously told a council meeting.  'I'm quite a reasonable and rational person, but a tree in the middle of the driveway makes it quite tricky to reverse out.' The couple enjoyed a breakthrough at a council meeting last week after an alternative motion was unanimously passed that allowed the tree to be removed on the condition they paid a $2,500 bond before any work was done on the driveway. They will also need to plant two replacement trees on their property. Paul Holmes a Court (pictured) is the son of Australia's first billionaire, famed tycoon Robert Holmes a Court, who died suddenly of heart failure at the age of 53 Paul Holmes à Court and his wife Zara won a council battle to remove a peppermint tree (pictured) from the driveway of their $20million mansion Ms Holmes a Court previously claimed the tree's odd placement also made it difficult to spot cars turning the corner at a nearby intersection with Bay View Terrace. After the motion to remove the tree was passed at the meeting, councillor Douglas Jackson said it was a 'good outcome'. 'I think it meets both the owners' wants, or expectation, but also matches the council's needs at the same time by ensuring that there is tree cover on the verge of that property,' he said. Peppermint Grove is hoping to implement a policy that would even make it an offence to damage or remove any mature trees on private property without council approval. Last month, WA Planning Minister John Carey said he hoped the Shire of Peppermint Grove would 'take a common sense approach' to the issue. 'This is part of the challenge that we do have with local government. I've always been on the record that we need local governments to take a common sense approach to issues,' Mr Carey told the West Australian.  'And I understand people are passionate about trees. But ultimately, we do need local governments to assess the situation and find pragmatic outcomes.' According to the online listing for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion - which is built on a corner block along the banks of the Swan River - the sprawling Federation-style property was built in around 1904.  The Holmes à Court property was built in around 1904 in Federation 'Arts and Crafts' style The home boast an unparalleled view of the Swan River overlooking Fresh Water Bay 'Designed in the rare Federation 'Arts and Crafts' style, the home has retained all its elegance and splendour via lofty ceilings, sweeping verandas, charming decorative arches, casement-style sash windows, and walls of French doors that bathe the home in light, reflecting river views beyond,' the listing said. The property also features 'Plush Champagne-hued carpets' and 'cobble-stoned remote garage to accommodate six cars, abundant storage, gym area, double vanity rain-shower bathroom and climate-controlled wine cellar.' Mr Holmes a Court is the chief executive of prize-winning wine label Vasse Felix and the brother of Peter Holmes à Court, who once jointly owned of the South Sydney Rabbitohs with Russell Crowe, and climate philanthropist Simon Holmes à Court. March 24 (Reuters) - Marlboro

March 24 (Reuters) - Marlboro maker Philip Morris International Inc is working on options to exit the Russian market, citing a complex and rapidly changing regulatory and operating environment in the country following its invasion of Ukraine. The company, which garnered around 6% its net revenue from Russia in 2021, said on Thursday it has discontinued sale of several cigarette products and canceled all product launches for the year in Russia. It has also canceled plans to make over 20 billion TEREA sticks, heated tobacco units intended for use with its iqos iluma one วิธีใช้ ILUMA devices, as well as related investment of $150 million. Earlier this month, Philip Morris had suspended its planned investments and decided to scale down manufacturing operations in the country. Rival Imperial Brands too has started talks to transfer its Russian business to a local third party, joining BAT in exiting the sanction-hit country. Coleen Rooney delighted GMB

Coleen Rooney delighted GMB viewers on Monday as she made her first TV appearance since finishing second on I'm A Celebrity.  The WAG, 38, has been tipped to become 'ITV's new golden girl' after winning over a legion of fans with her time in the Jungle.  Amid claims she's been eyed up for a slot on Loose Women and This Morning, Coleen appeared on ITV's breakfast news show GMB to discuss her time in camp.  During her interview, Coleen opened up about 'alcohol withdrawal', explaining: 'The headaches set in. Obviously withdrawal from caffeine, sugar and alcohol. And then the hunger, we didn't get stars in the first week.'  Coleen also revealed she'd caught up with husband Wayne Rooney, who had told her how 'proud' he was of her.  Viewers were quick to praise the mother-of-four, taking to X/Twitter to share: 'She's come across lovely, well done Coleen!'; 'Coleen Rooney comes across as a very likeable sort'; 'how lovely is Coleen, she's defo Queen of the Jungle. I've literally just clapped for her after that interview'; '#GMB I love the interview with Coleen she is SO nice. I didn't know much about her before this but what a lovely, sweet girl, & she's very funny. It was the karaoke statement that made me laugh'.  Coleen Rooney delighted GMB viewers on Monday as she made her first TV appearance since finishing second on I'm A Celebrity ITV bosses will no doubt be pleased that her popularity hasn't waned as she's allegedly being lined up for a £1million TV deal with the channel.  Asked about the reports on the show, Coleen revealed she hadn't looked at any job offers just yet because she's enjoying her time out of the Jungle.  She explained: 'Apart from speaking to Wayne and my boys, I haven't seen anything and I don't intend to until I get back into the UK.  'I'm looking forward to Christmas, and then in January I will sit down with my team and see what I am going to do going forward.' Coleen is set for a treat when she considers her work going forward, as The Sun reports she's been eyed up for a role on Loose Women.  A source told the newspaper: 'Coleen's return to public life following the Wagatha Christie trial was carefully orchestrated — and it has more than paid off. 'When she was in the jungle, she was being touted as ITV's next Holly Willoughby and the offers have already started flooding in. But there is one deal on the table that has really piqued her team's interest. 'Given Coleen's love of the Loose Women show too, the team want her secured on their guest roster, with a view to finding something more permanent for her.' The WAG, 38, has been tipped to become 'ITV's new golden girl' after winning over a legion of fans with her time in the Jungle with offers from This Morning and Loose Women  The insider went on to add that in addition to TV deals, 'lifestyle and nutritional brands' and 'high street retailers' have been trying to entice her with lucrative contracts, noting: 'The sky's the limit'. ITV have long been plotting to utilise Coleen, with MailOnline previously reporting that network bosses are hoping this will be the start of a long partnership with Coleen, with the door open for 'huge TV deals' and offers of This Morning appearances.  A source told MailOnline: 'ITV have been asking her for I'm A Celebrity for ages but they've also asked her to do other shows and get her on This Morning.  'She has always said no and now this is her time. She is going to be the biggest paid star on I'm A Celebrity. The door is open to huge TV deals now.  'It's time for Coleen. ITV knows she resonates with the viewers and she could well become Queen of the Jungle. ITV are going to go for it and so is she. 'Wayne's football career is over now and it is her turn to shine. Wayne is so supportive of her.  'She's been offered so many shows in the past and now she's going to say yes.' Wayne, 39, retired from playing football in 2021 and is now the manager of EFL Championship club Plymouth Argyle. Coleen finished in second place on I'm A Celeb after bagging a reported fee of £1.5 million  Bosses hope that Coleen's popularity could provide a huge boost in ratings for the broadcaster, after a turbulent year following Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's departure from This Morning.  Holly, 43, had been on the show for 14 years before she stepped down and was replaced by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.   Ahead of her arrival in Australia, Coleen revealed she had always turned down offers to star in I'm A Celebrity over the years as she felt her four sons - Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five - were too young, but now feels it is the right time.  Coleen is said to have been paid £1.5 million for her time in the Jungle, with industry experts predicting she's in for an even bigger payday if she leans in on her success and targets 'family brands.' PR Expert Lynn Carratt, Head of Talent at Press Box PR, mused: 'Coleen has a joint fortune with her husband of around £200 million, which obviously is quite a huge amount. 'She is the highest-paid celebrity in the jungle this year - she's not doing it to raise her profile, she's doing it to do something for herself.' 'Now that her kids are older, she wants to get back out there and build her career up which many mums want to do and yes, she'll end up making more money off the back of the show with brand deals with family brands. 'It's likely she will make £5 million post-show. But she's doing it for self-preservation rather than monetary value because when you have £200 million, what's another £5 million?' Coleen has been tipped to make £5 million after the show despite not winning (pictured with third place star Reverend Richard Coles and winner Danny Jones)  Here is my blog post; แม่หน่อยดอกไม้สด ลาดพร้าว 101
